St Michael’s delivers Manchester’s first Marriott branded residences with five star services, Whatever/Whenever concierge and W wellness amenities. Domis Utilities is providing integrated utilities delivery, new power and water connections, temporary supplies, diversions and disconnections all sequenced for programme certainty in a complex city centre build.

Manchester’s first branded residences arrive at St Michael’s, a £400m landmark in the heart of the city that transforms an underused site into a world-class destination to live, stay and unwind. Delivered with Marriott International, these are the first Marriott branded residences outside London, bringing five-star hotel services and elevated city centre living to Manchester.

Residents enjoy hotel-grade amenities at their own front door with access to a private residents’ lobby and dedicated lifts through the W Hotel. The offer includes the W Wellness Treatment Spa, the FIT Gym, a residents’ lounge in the W Living Room, and a swimming pool with spa facilities, creating a complete wellness and lifestyle experience in the city.

Service is seamless with Whatever/Whenever® concierge available 24/7/365 for residents and hotel guests. Daily living is supported by air-conditioning throughout and high-specification fixtures and fittings, while interiors are crafted with care by Bowler James Brindley to deliver exceptional quality and comfort.

Domis Utilities supports St Michael’s as the integrated utilities partner, providing end-to-end delivery from early works to final connection. Our scope covers new electricity and water connections, temporary utility supplies to maintain programme momentum, and the diversion and disconnection activities required for complex city centre construction.

Our permit-first approach and strong relationships with local authorities bring approvals forward and reduce risk on critical path activities. High-rise and city centre expertise ensures careful logistics, safe public interfaces and minimal disruption around the development. Integrated control across disconnections, diversions and new connections removes handoffs, protects dates and delivers reliable outcomes backed by the Domis Group.

The result is programme certainty and a clean transition from temporary to permanent services, enabling Manchester’s first branded residences to open with resilient power and water infrastructure from day one.
