Domis Utilities managed the delivery of essential infrastructure for the Fifty5 Queen development including a new high voltage substation, water networks, and a temporary builders supply. Works were completed in line with programme requirements and integrated smoothly into the wider scheme.

The Project
Fifty5ive Queen St is a residential development, housing 219 dwellings in the up-and-coming Blackfriars district of the city.
Domis Utilities Ltd successfully managed the disconnections and diversions associated with the development to allow progression.
A new integral 1000kVA substation was established, coupled with a Schneider RN2d, and a 5-way Take off Chamber.
The project was energised well ahead of schedule which allowed Domis Construction to take a temporary supply from the take-off chamber for the construction phase, resulting in significant savings in terms of generator/fuel costs, and also allowed for the final commissioning of the building to be conducted ahead of programme.
We managed the complexities of a completed water connection with United Utilities, and derived a solution which enabled the final works to go ahead on time.
