Domis Utilities acted as the integrated utilities partner from early works to final connection, providing programme certainty for a complex city centre scheme. Our single accountable team coordinated design, installation, testing and energisation so the build could progress on time and on budget.

The scope covered service disconnections, temporary power and temporary water to maintain productivity, and the full coordination of permanent water and electrical connections sized for the completed community. Delivery included a double substation with two HV transformers to secure resilient capacity, alongside complex offsite works planned and executed to align with the main construction sequence.

Our approach is permit first and programme led. Strong relationships with local authorities and statutory providers brought approvals forward and reduced risk on the critical path. Integrated control across disconnections, diversions, temporary strategies and permanent connections removed handoffs, protected dates and ensured safe delivery in a constrained urban environment.
