Viadux Phase 2

Viadux Phase Two introduces Nobu Manchester, a 76 storey tower that will bring a 160 bedroom hotel, a signature restaurant and 452 branded residences to the city. Delivered in partnership with Nobu Hospitality, these branded residences mark the brand’s debut in the UK luxury real estate market and respond to growing demand for high quality accommodation from residents and international visitors.

The tower is architecturally ambitious and city centre ready. Elevated above ground with foundations constructed beneath a retained Victorian archway, it will rise to 246 metres and become the tallest building in the UK outside London. Alongside the adjacent 40 storey tower delivered in the first phase of Viadux, Nobu Manchester will define a new benchmark for the skyline and for complex urban delivery.

Domis Utilities is supporting the next phase of the Viadux development as the integrated utilities partner, providing programme certainty from early works to final connection. Our role covers the critical backbone that enables the tower and the wider mixed use masterplan to progress on time and on budget.

The scope includes new high voltage substations to secure resilient electrical capacity, a new water connection sized for hotel and residential demand, and temporary utility supplies that keep construction productive through commissioning. All activities are planned and sequenced to align with the construction programme for the 76 storey tower and coordinated with the wider site logistics.
